'Shadow' spoof bought by BBC

World Brief

The BBC has collared U.K. terrestrial rights to "Legacy of the Silver Shadow," a 13-part half hour drama from the Australian Children's Television Foundation. The skein, which spoofs the super-hero genre, has been sold to Australia's Network Ten, Discovery U.K. and broadcasters in Finland, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. It's produced by the ACTF in association with Darestar and Ponderosa Prods. The ACTF hopes to begin a second series by the end of this year.
