LONDON -- Peter van den Bussche is returning to Endemol U.K. just six months after he quit to join New Zealand format specialist Touchdown to front a new drive into the U.S., Australia, New Zealand and the U.K.
Van den Bussche, who becomes senior licensing manager on March 24, will report to Mike Morley, Endemol's executive director, International Licensing, who is based in Holland.
His reappointment signals a closer creative affiliation between Endemol U.K. and Endemol U.S., with the two companies co-developing properties for both markets.
Van den Bussche most recently brokered a deal for BBC America to carry the British Academy Film Awards live on Feb. 23. He was also instrumental in breaking Endemol U.K. formats "Changing Rooms," "Ground Force" and "Ready Steady Cook" into the U.S.
