Short Take

Italian Internet-access giant Tiscali is offering up free, legal music downloads, interviews, videos and other content to its subscribers, thanks to a new pact with tech firm OD2 and Microsoft's Windows media division.

Via the Tiscali Music Club, which runs through May, customers in Italy, France, the U.K., the Netherlands and Germany will have access to OD2's full catalog of 150,000 licensed tracks from 8,500 different recording artists on a temporary basis.
