Pair of project pacts for 'Potter' producer

Heyman options 'Life for Sale,' 'Dial a Ghost'

Warner Bros. and "Harry Potter" producer David Heyman continue to earmark books for movies.

Heyman and WB have optioned the John Freyer book "All My Life for Sale," as well as the British children's novel "Dial a Ghost."

Heyman is looking to hook a filmmaker for "Life," about a man who sells his possessions on Ebay, then tracks down the buyers and visits them.

Project was brought in by Heyday's Tiffany Daniel and Kelly Dynes. WB exec Aditya Sood is overseeing it.

"I connected to the contemporary story of the meaning of our possessions and the way much of our communication is defined by the Internet," Heyman said.

First-time scribe Iona Brindle has been set to adapt "Dial a Ghost," a novel by Eva Ibbotson about a boy who discovers that his boring dad is actually part of a secret organization responsible for keeping a balance between ghosts and humans. Brindle's repped by APA, and WB's Lionel Wigram is overseeing the projects.

Heyman's Heyday Prods. is exec producing the WB film "Taking Lives" and is producing with Neal Moritz and Arnold Schwarzenegger the Michael Bay-Will Smith film "I Am Legend."

Heyman moved back to London to oversee WB's "Potter" franchise, with production on the third film about to get under way and a fourth being written by Steve Kloves.
