Kennedy produces B.O. bounty

Award-winning filmmaker Kathleen Kennedy, whose Kennedy/Marshall shingle is behind Disney's "Signs," which has grossed $402 million worldwide and is prepping "Seabiscuit" for DreamWorks/Universal, is also linked to three of the highest-grossing titles ever -- "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial," "Jurassic Park" and "The Sixth Sense."

She started her bigscreen career in 1979 as a production assistant on Steven Spielberg's "1941," moving up the ladder to producer on "E.T." three years later. In 1984, she co-founded Amblin Entertainment with Spielberg and husband Frank Marshall, producing the "Back to the Future" trilogy (1985, 1989, 1990), best pic Oscar winner "Schindler's List" (1993) and "Jurassic Park" (1993).

Kennedy/Marshall Co. also produced "Snow Falling on Cedars" (1999) and "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" (2001).
