To the Editor:
In your article about the WGA Award nominations ("Scribe tribe goes 'Bowling,'"
Daily Variety, Feb. 7), I found the lack of coverage you gave to nominated writers of television scripts appalling. The WGA Awards honor the individual
writers, not shows, for their excellent work.
Nowhere in the article did you mention the names of the television writers so honored by their peers -- not in longform, drama or comedy.
These writers deserved to have their success lauded.
