ABC has added two more laffers to its pilot roster, with both centering on unlikely relationships.
"Platonically Incorrect," from Tom Shadyac's Shady Acres and Touchstone TV, revolves around a man and a woman who work together and are best friends but have kept things strictly platonic.
Darlene Hunt ("Good Morning, Miami") wrote the pilot, while Shadyac and Michael Bostick will exec produce.
The Alphabet has also greenlit a comedy pilot from Chris Henchy ("Spin City") and Marco Pennette ("Caroline in the City").
That comedy, produced by Tollin-Robbins, follows a budding relationship between a schoolteacher and a celebrity.
"Chris and Marco did a great job bringing their vision to the script," said Tollin-Robbins Prods. prexy Joe Davola.
UTA packaged both series.
