Toronto honors best of Canuck cinema
'Arafat,' 'Spider' chosen for Top Ten
The top ten, created to honour the best of Canuck cinema, is in its sophomore year. New this year were two moderated panel discussions open to public, "On Performance," and "On Editing," taking place on Jan 22 and 23 respectively.
The pics are chosen by a 10 industryites, including Katherine Monk, author and film critic for the Vancouver Sun, author Geoff Pevere, filmmaker Bruce Sweeney ("Last Wedding") and Tom McSorley, executive director of the Canadian Film Institute.
