Robust returns for 'Reba'

'Tuscon' gets visitors

Second-year laffer "Reba" soared to series highs Friday, boosting the WB's comedy block to its best-ever showing on the night in key demos.

"Reba" led the 9 p.m. half-hour with series-record scores in adults 18-34 (2.6/9), persons 12-34 (2.7/10) and women 18-34 (3.9/13), setting a timeslot record for the net in the latter. It also finished a strong second to NBC's "Dateline" in women 18-49 (3.3/9).

The family comedy also drew its largest overall aud to date (5.73 million), nearly 2 million more than any other WB comedy.

Overall, the Frog enjoyed its best-ever Friday in women 18-34 (3.0/10) and women 18-49 (2.6/8) and won every half-hour among femmes 12-34. From 8 to 10, the WB was the highest-rated net on television among women 18-34.

At 9:30, "Greetings From Tucson" achieved series-high ratings in adults 18-34 (1.9/6), persons 12-34 (1.9/7) and all femme demos.
