Dale Kendall-Browne

Television programming exec

Dale Kendall-Browne, former television programming exec, died suddenly Dec. 26 in Boston of meningitis. She was 39.

A native of British Guyana, Kendall-Browne grew up in New York. She attended St. Joseph's College in New York, intending to become a doctor. Instead, she joined HRP in 1986 as associate director of programming and went on to become director of programming at Blair Television/Petty Media Corp., where she remained until 2001.

She was engaged to her longtime companion, Ron Geagan, VP/national sales manager at Western Intl. Syndication. The pair moved to Marina Del Rey, Calif., where Kendall-Browne took a year off while Geagan worked in the industry. At the time of her death, she was exploring options for returning to work.

She is survived by Geagan, her parents, three sisters and a brother.
