Rugged, handsome actor Scott Plank, who had recurring roles on "Melrose Place" and "The Division" and recently completed a role in Walden Media's upcoming feature "Holes" as the father of Sigourney Weaver's character, was found dead Oct. 24 at his L.A. home, reportedly as a result of injuries sustained from a car accident three days earlier. He was 43.

Former Fort Lauderdale resident went on to appear in commercials, Broadway productions of "A Chorus Line" and "Dreamgirls," Off Broadway's "Voohas" and local theater including L.A. bow of "Hurlyburly."

TV roles also included "Air America," "L.A. Takedown," "Sons and Daughters," "Walker, Texas Ranger" "Strange Luck," "Melrose Place," "Marshal Law," "NYPD Blue" "The Division" "Pacific Blue" "Murder She Wrote" and more.

Other films include "The In Crowd," "Moonbase," "Panama Sugar," "Without Evidence," "American Strays," "The Flying Dutchman," "Lessons Learned," "Pastime" and more.
