Lincoln Center fetes Lane

Thesp to join Osborne for discussion of her career

Diane Lane will be feted by the Film Society of Lincoln Center next month.

Thesp will join Turner Classic Movies' Robert Osborne onstage for a discussion of her career and a screening of clips in "Always a Natural: An Evening With Diane Lane."

Lane has participated in Film Society events before, including tributes to Laurence Olivier and Francis Ford Coppola, but this will be her first time on the receiving end.

She began her career on stage in New York at the age of 6, before making her big screen debut in "A Little Romance" in 1979. Her other credits include "Rumble Fish," "A Walk on the Moon" and this year's "Unfaithful."

Evening will take place Dec. 12 at the Walter Reade Theater. For more information, call (212) 875-5600.
