Jones was managing director of Alibi Films Intl. and head of HandMade Films. He is a consultant to Dublin-based MR Film Sales.
At Winchester, he will coordinate development of British projects, international sales, U.K. theatrical distribution and production finance. He will work closely with Winchester's Los Angeles office.
"We approached Gareth to join us because of his extensive relationships with independent producers and his wide experience in production, finance, distribution and international sales," said Winchester CEO Gary Smith.
"Producers will be able to come directly to Gareth, who will offer and co-ordinate the full range of Winchester's services."
