Set in the 1950s, the dark comedy follows a woman who becomes convinced that a "transorbital" lobotomy will solve all her problems -- and her gangster boyfriend, who tries to talk her out of it.
Also cast are Bill Raymond, Tim Guinee, Wendell Pierce and Louis Zorich.
Financed by Beech Hill, the film is produced by principals Alexa Fogel and Joseph Infantolino.
Williams most recently starred in Sandra Goldbacher's "Me Without You" and "Prozac Nation." She next stars in "The United States of Leland."
Aday's roles include "Fight Club," "Focus," "The Salton Sea" and the current "Formula 51."
Ledes wrote "Hole in One" after five years of research on mental health and popular culture in the course of getting his Ph.D. in comparative literature at NYU.
Fogel and Infantolino produced Jim McKay's "Our Song" with IFC Films, and most recently produced "Face" starring Bai Ling and Treach, which was recently nominated for the IFP Golden Palm Award. Fogel is also the casting director for HBO's "Oz" and "The Wire."
