Leconte to reveal 'Secrets'
Pic is helmer's first with StudioCanal's Sarde
The film will be the French helmer's first with Studio Canal producer Alain Sarde.
"I've wanted to work with Alain for a long time, but we've never had the opportunity before. I'm looking forward to it," the helmer told Daily Variety.
The original screenplay was penned by Jerome Tonnerre.
"It's very bizarre, a sort of psychological comedy with a Hitchcockian start," Leconte said.
"Sandrine plays a young woman who consults a psychologist but knocks on the wrong door. The person who answers doesn't have the nerve to tell her she's made a mistake."
Laroque, Duchaussoy star
The cast also includes Michele Laroque ("The Closet") and Michel Duchaussoy ("The Widow of St. Pierre"). Shooting will begin in Paris in April, Leconte said.
Leconte's previous three pics, including the soon-to-be-released "The Man on the Train" (L'homme du train), were produced by Philippe Carcassonne and Gallic film company Pathe.
"I love working with Philippe, but we're not married to each other," Leconte said. "Sometimes it's good to change."
