Mother of Dan Curtis Prods. prexy David Kennedy

Marion Frances Kennedy, mother of Dan Curtis Prods. prexy David Kennedy and wife of the late National Basketball Assn. commissioner J. Walter Kennedy, died May 31 at Greenwich Woods Health Care Center in Greenwich, Conn. She was 91.

She was involved in numerous charity orgs including the United Way, League of Women Voters and the Catholic Library. Her husband, who passed away in 1977, was mayor of Stamford, Conn., 1959-1963 and served 12 years as NBA commissioner until his retirement in 1975.

In addition to David, she is survived by another son, journo Robert F. Kennedy, daughter Kathleen Kennedy, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
