Soundtrack net to bow in Korea

Los Angeles-based Soundtrack Channel has pacted with Korean entertainment company FMI to launch a customized version of the music and entertainment channel for Korean auds, it was announced Wednesday.

STC will be produced and distribbed in Korea and will launch on the Sky Life DTH platform and cablers in 2003, with the aim of reaching 1 million subs within a year. FMI's co-prexy Jinho "Frank" Moon will head ops in Korea. Soundtrack is headed by former MGM exec Bill Lee.
