Roth resigns from art directors post

Former prexy reason: 'various and implacable' time demands

HOLLYWOOD -- Scott Roth, president of the Art Directors Guild, has resigned as president of the Hollywood Entertainment Labor council.

Roth cited "various and implacable" demands on his time along with other considerations but did not elaborate.

The council is composed of reps from all Hollywood labor unions. Under the council's constitution, Screen Actors Guild exec Pamm Fair will be promoted from the post of the Council's First VP to acting president.
