Ryan Anthony Fioravanti (Ryan Fury)

Actor and nascent director

Actor and nascent director Ryan Anthony Fioravanti died July 29 in a Las Vegas hospital from injuries sustained in a car accident just outside the city. He was 18.

Only son of production manager Ron Fury and actress Peggy Fury, he appeared in several commercials for McDonald's as a child and recently completed the film "Slammed," acting under the stage name Ryan Fury.

The 6-foot-4-inch Cal State Los Angeles junior, who entered college at age 13, had also recently been accepted to a young directors program at the Directors Guild of America.

Among his accomplishments were his years as a popular counselor at Calvin Crest Christian Camp and presiding over the children's services at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Burbank.

He is survived by his parents and six sisters.
