African confab to tackle digital issues

JOHANNESBURG -- African broadcasters and politicos will discuss how to use digital technology in the increasingly deregulated environment on the continent at this year's Broadcast World Africa Conference.

About 100 delegates from sub-Saharan Africa will attend the fifth three-day confab, which kicks off Sept. 30 in Johannesburg, South Africa, according to organizer Warren Wilson.
