Amanda likes 'Dina'

World Brief

Danish director Ole Bornedal's $16 million "I Am Dina" -- the most expensive feature produced in Scandinavia -- has garnered three Amanda Film Awards nominations. Kudos will launch the 30th Norwegian Intl. Film Festival on Aug. 17.

The Northern Lights/Nordisk Film production will compete with Trygve Allister Diesen's "Hold My Heart" and Even Benestad's docu "All About My Father."

"I Am Dina" co-stars Maria Bonnevie and Joergen Langhelle, who are up for actress and actor honors.
