LONDON -- Working Title's Gotham comedy "The Guru" will world premiere at the Edinburgh Intl. Film Festival, running Aug. 14-25.

Pic, directed by Daisy von Scherler Mayer, stars Heather Graham, Marisa Tomei and Jimi Mistry.

The Edinburgh fest, under new artistic director Shane Danielsen, will give European premieres to Gary Winick's "Tadpole" and Philip Noyce's "Rabbit-Proof Fence." And there will be U.K. premieres for Mike Leigh's "All or Nothing," Roger Michel's "Changing Lanes," Francois Ozon's "8 Women" and Juan Jose Campanella's "The Son of the Bride."

Danielsen will announce the full fest lineup July 10.

Meanwhile, Channel 5 chief exec Dawn Airey has been named the new chair of the Edinburgh Intl. Television Festival, which runs Aug. 23-25.

Airey is replacing John Willis, who is leaving the U.K. to join WGBH in Boston.
