Patricia Clarkson

Patricia Clarkson has inked to play the mother in NBC's three-hour adaptation of Stephen King's "Carrie." MGM Television and Trilogy Entertainment are exec producing the telepic, which is also a back-door pilot. Lensing begins this month in Vancouver. Angela Bettis has been cast in the title role. Clarkson, who recurs on "Six Feet Under," has a slew of pics coming up: "Welcome to Collinwood," "Dogville," "All the Real Girls," "Far From Heaven" and "Pieces of April."
