Warner TV taps sr. VP

Sales exec Goldman upped to ad operations

Andrew Goldman has been named senior veep and general manager of media sales at Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

In his new role, Goldman will handle national ad time operations for firstrun and off-net product housed within Warner Bros.' syndie unit and its sister company under AOL Time Warner, Telepictures Distribution.

Shows under his watch include yakker "Jenny Jones," mag "Extra" and sitcom "Friends."

Based in Gotham, Goldman will report to Michael Teicher, Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution's exec VP of media sales.

"Andrew has a terrific background with almost two decades in sales with various companies." Teicher said. "I look forward to working with him in his new post."

Most recently, Goldman served for three years as exec VP of sales and business development at Internet Broadcasting Systems. Prior to that, he worked in a similar role within Turner Broadcasting's interactive unit. Before Turner, Goldman was prexy and CEO of media marketing consultancy firm Group Resources Unlimited.
