Howard Pays
Actor, theatrical agent
After serving in the British armed services, he launched his acting career in 1955 in the TV series "Sixpenny Corner," where he met actress Jan Miller, whom he later married.
Additional acting credits included "A Night to Remember," "Urge to Kill" and "Attack on the Iron Coast."
Pays retired from acting and opened the London talent agency CCA with partner Freddy Vale and soon became one of London's most prominent theatrical agents. His roster of clients included actor John Rhys Davies, cinematographer Tony Pierce-Roberts, director Gabrielle Beaumont and thesps Peter Adams, Pat Phoenix and Gareth Hunt.
In addition to his daughter, Amanda, he is survived by first wife Miller, their daughter, Debra Pays, second wife Lynne and six grandchildren.
