Fortissimo takes to 'Park'

Skater pic stars Chubbuck, ensemble cast

CANNES -- Fortissimo Film Sales has picked up worldwide rights to "Ken Park," directed by Larry Clark and Edward Lachman.

Pic, which recently finished shooting in California's San Joaquin Valley, focuses on the lives of a group of young skaters.

It was written by Harmony Korine and produced by Kees Kasander, Olivier Bremond and Pascal Breton. It stars newcomer Adam Chubbuck alongside an ensemble cast including Amanda Plummer and Bill Fagerbakke.

Pic marks the directing debut (albeit as co-helmer with Clark) of Lachman, who was the cinematographer on "Erin Brockovich," "The Virgin Suicides" and "The Limey."

Fortissimo acquired the film from Marathon, the French production company.
