Exex climbing up Mosaic's family tree

Conner, James tapped

HOLLYWOOD -- Mosaic Media Group's Family Tree Entertainment division has tapped Erika Conner VP of film and television development and Dorsey James as general manager.

Conner will oversee development at Family Tree and report to Family Tree founder and president Michael "Blue" Williams while she works out of Mosaic's Los Angeles office. She will also work with Mosaic partner Charles Roven as a creative executive.

Prior to joining Mosaic, Conner was VP of film development for Naaila Entertainment, the production banner of vid director Hype Williams.

James will manage day-to-day operations of Family Tree and is responsible for expanding the brand.

He was most recently senior VP of Arista Records, where he developed joint ventures with Bad Boy Records, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis' Flyte Tyme Records and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds' NuAmerica Records. Prior to joining Arista, he served as general manager for LaFace Records.
