Bakley buddy up Creek

Scheier makes quick telepic pact

The race to develop a Robert Blake/Bonnie Lee Bakley telepic has begun.

Among the players peddling their story: Bakley best friend Christina Scheier, who has pacted with SilverCreek Entertainment prexy Larry Garrison to turn her story into a book and companion TV movie.

According to Garrison, whose credits include the CBS telepic "Like Father/Like Son: The Strange Story of Sante and Kenny Kimes," Scheier and Bakley were friends for 35 years, until Bakley stole Scheier's identity.

The two later made up after Scheier turned her in to New Jersey police. Garrison said Scheier possesses Bakley's black book, cell phone records and other letters in which the murdered wife of Robert Blake discusses her relationship with the actor. Project would focus on the tumultuous relationship between Bakley and Scheier, as well as clues relating to Bakley's death and Blake's alleged involvement.

"We are confident that Christina knows it all and has decided to avenge her best friend's death," Garrison said.
