Ex-CTTV prexy reactivates Baseline
Shingle topper Grossi open to all possibilities

Grossi left CTTV last year as part of Sony's restructuring of its TV operations. He wasn't actively involved in any Baseline-related projects during the two years he was running the studio.
Now that his exit from Sony has been finalized, Grossi will use the Baseline shingle to explore everything from the "development and acquisition of media companies and projects" to the development of feature and TV projects, he said.
Grossi, who's worked in TV production on both the studio and network side, said he's open to all possibilities.
"I've grown up with all kinds of technologies and worked in all aspects of the business," he said. "I want to use all of that knowledge and all of those relationships wherever I can."
Programming-wise, Baseline's first projects will likely be in kidvid or reality sports programming. Grossi is also on the lookout for program libraries or small companies that might provide business opportunities for Baseline.
Grossi said he's also open to the idea of returning to the exec ranks if the right position opens up. "It's got to be challenging and interesting," he said.
While at CTTV, Grossi oversaw Sony's network TV division and managed the company's interests in Game Show Network and Telemundo. He also supervised Sony's gameshow franchises and Sony Pictures Family Entertainment.
