ESPYs warm to H'wood move

Jackson to return as host

HOLLYWOOD -- Samuel L. Jackson will return as host of the ESPY Awards when the sports kudofest celebrates its 10th anni July 10 at the Kodak Theater. This will be Jackson's third turn as emcee. Announcement was made at a press conference Tuesday at the venue.

ESPN moved the event from Las Vegas in the winter to Hollywood in the summer, hoping to generate additional publicity as the show falls on the Wednesday following Major League Baseball's all-star game and a virtual blank on the sports calendar.
