3 Arts grabs Greener's Union Artists shingle
Bernie Mac, others follow manager to new home
Greener and manager Leonard Torgan will join 3 Arts immediately, bringing with them a list that includes Bernie Mac, Julia Ormond, Joely Richardson, Paul Sorvino, Nick Turturro, Russell Hornsby ("Gideon's Crossing") as well as exec producers and writers Bennie Richburg ("The Jamie Foxx Show") and director Peter O'Fallon ("Suicide Kings").
Greener also serves as a producer on the Fox freshman hit series "The Bernie Mac Show."
"We have been impressed with Steven for awhile," said Erwin Stoff, a co-principal in 3 Arts with Michael Rotenberg and Howard Klein. "He has tenacity, a great rapport with clients and his background as a manager and producer will serve us well. We hope that the new artists who are joining us will benefit from our strengths."
Prior to forming Union Artists in 2000, Greener headed the talent management division of Elephant Walk Entertainment, and while there, he produced Showtime's "That Championship Season," marking the debut of his longtime client Paul Sorvino. Greener earlier spent four years at Medina/Pollack Entertainment, which later became Handprint Entertainment.
Torgan began as an assistant at UTA who started in management at Banner Entertainment.
