John R. London

TV production veteran

John R. London, who served in various production capacities on several TV skein during the 1950s including "The Loretta Young Show" and "Amos 'n Andy," died Wednesday March 6 in his sleep at his home in Los Angeles. He was 90.

UCLA grad worked briefly for Harold Lloyd and during the late '40s-early '50s as a manager for Motion Picture Center Studios. Prior to his stint on Loretta Young's show, he worked on other productions including Alfred Hitchcock's "The Paradine Case" and William Dieterle's "Portrait of Jennie."

London is survived by his daughter, two brothers and a nephew.
