ATAS graduates college kudos

Willard to host; presenters include Roberts, Ryan

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has unveiled the winners of its 23rd annual College Television Awards competish.

Fred Willard (the WB's "Maybe It's Me") will host a March 17 ceremony honoring the No. 1 and No. 2 picks in each category.

Those receiving top kudos include Jennifer Derwington for "Roadside Assistance" in the comedy category; Hilda Mercado and Alberto Gonzales-Reyna for "Piece of Earth" in the drama arena; Christoph Baaden for "The Elements" in music; and Jason Spingarn-Koff for "Robofly" in the docu section.

Celeb presenters of the prizes --$2,000 for first, $1,000 for second -- include "Everybody Loves Raymond" regular Doris Roberts and "Boston Public" stars Jeri Ryan and Chi McBride.

Winning entries will be screened at ATAS' Goldenson Theater at 6:30 p.m. March 18.
