"YOU SHOULD SEE THE HORSE!" Jack Lemmon told me when I reached him at his hotel room in Asheville, N.C., where he was recuping after a horse fell on him during a scene in WB's "My Fellow Americans." It was during a parade sequence and Lemmon noted, 'They're not Hollywood horses here -- one of them spooked when the cameras rolled and the band started playing! I thought I was hit by a car -- it was a 1,500 pound horse who stepped on me." Lemmon was taken to the hospital and he, miraculously, suffered no fractures. But, boy is he aching! And he won't be able to do running scenes for several days. Also upcoming is a scene in which he and Jim Garner (both play ex-presidents) gallop on horseback across the White House lawn. IT DOESN'T MAKE IT EASY TO WARM UP to a studio's hoped-for hot movie when the theater in which it preems is kept freezing. Despite repeated requests at Mann's Village preem of "Mission Impossible" to adjust the A/C, cold blasts continued as parades of first-nighters marched to restrooms (and lobby) throughout the "Mission." The explanation: "The studio wanted it kept this way." Nonetheless, the film's grand finale got warm hands at its spectacular train-'copter chase. Everyone then dutifully paraded through Westwood to the lavish party boasting a helicopter pad dance floor, live Web site transmissions, computers to play the Apple Mission Impossible Adventure Game, photo op I.D. card areas and Along Came Mary's international cuisine to match the pic's locations -- from Prague to London, to the U.S. ...
