And now, Jackson's also hosting a wedding up there for his longtime bodyguard, Mikko Brando, who steadfastly stood alongside his father Marlon and his half-brother Christian in court during the latter's trial ... Just in case anyone worried that two can't live as cheaply as one -- Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson will have a new source of income! Mark McCormack's Intl. Management Group (IMG) is retained by Elvis Presley Enterprises to develop and manage its licensing in Japan for "all product categories"-- apparel, home furnishings, gifts, etc. This means more moolah for Lisa Marie -- and mebbe a wardrobe change for Michael -- if he goes to Japan. The Presley merchandise is in good company -- IMG licensing clients include Major League Baseball, Wimbledon, Arnold Palmer, Martina Navratilova, Wayne Gretzky -- also the Pope's visit! IMG is no stranger to Michael Jackson as they sold foreign rights to "The Jackson Family Honors" TV show and are among defendants in the Gary Smith suit ... Add wedding bells: Blair Underwood and Desiree Da Costa will tie the knot before 350 friends and relatives next month ... Director Mike Binder and wife Diane welcomed son Burt Edward Aug. 16 at Santa Monica three days before Mike's movie "Blankman" bows ... Scott Glenn's ICM agents had set him in three movies in a row, "Flight of the Dove,""Night of the Running Man" and "Tall Tale." So they may not be happy to hear his next plans. I spoke to Glennat his Ketchum, Idaho, home where he had just come in from rollerblading and is readying to attend motorcycle racing clinics, the first in Portland, Ore. And, he'd just returned from scuba diving in Mexico ... Tommy Tune winged Sally Struthers to N.Y. where she won the "Grease" national touring company role of "Miss Lynch." The tour is slated to last seven months.
WHILE OSCAR NOMINATION TALK'S IN THE AIR for Harrison Ford in "Clear and Present Danger,""Mustang: The Forbidden Kingdom," the feature-length docu he narrated, will bow Aug. 31 at Laemmle Sunset 5 for Oscar entry qualification. It's Discovery Prods.' movie of the Buddhist community on the Tibetan border. You recall, Harrison and wife Melissa Mathison visited with the Dalai Lama over there. And Melissa is readying the feature screenplay on the Dalai Lama to be directed by Martin Scorsese ... Ken Wahl, who admits he's "been bugging" Stephen Cannell to produce several two-hour "Wiseguy" MOWs, sez the deal could be closed with Fox by November. Wahl would also be involved in producing and writing. He was Emmy-nominated for the series role ... On their quick trip to L.A., Barbara Taylor Bradford and husband Robert Bradford signed with Wm. Morris to rep the TV versions of her "Everything to Gain,""The Woman in His Life" and "Angel," which Bob would produce. Barbara is also noodling a dramatic series.
