BURT REYNOLDS IS IN GREAT SHAPE and spirits to match, reports Angie Dickinson , who's back from the Jupiter, Fla., locations of "The Maddening." "And he acted wonderfully," says Angie. She reports the movie was to have been made in L.A. but was switched to Jupiter where Reynolds has two sound-proofed, air conditioned stages, great production facilities and offices as well. The pic is a thriller and Angie added, "I'm ecstatic." Yesterday, Angie took her daughter Nicky to Magic Mountain for her birthday ... Roger Moore completed his A&E "Biogaphy" shoot here and heads to London this weekend where his son Christopher is working on the James Bond pic as assistant location manager. He joins Pierce Brosnan's son on the crew, as well as producer Michael Wilson's son. Moore goes before the cameras December in "Sea Quest" playing Jean-Claude Van Damme's father. He's awaiting the latest rewrite on "The Saint" in which he'd also play the new Saint's papa. While in the U.S., Moore appeared for UNICEF at the Kiwanis' New Orleans convention, where he spoke on the world's iodine deficiency problem, and raised enough dough to eradicate the global problem by century's end! Roger is in tip top form, his prostate problem totally cleared ... Cubby Broccoli is reportedly out of intensive care at Johns Hopkins following triple bypass surgery ... Sumner Redstone and Frank Biondi are among those headed to Sun Valley, Idaho, for Herb Allen's annual conclave ... Christopher Reeve wound up being rebuffed by Geena Davis (for Michael Keaton) in "Speechless." "It was a smart choice by her," laughed Reeve, "I'm unreliable." And winged out Tuesday ayem for Alaskan-Russian waters. He'll be aboard Eskimo boats seeking gray whales to lense for the BBC and PBS "In the Wild" series. He picks up the series next year in Baja waters where whales give birth during their 13,000-mile annual journey. In between, Reeve starts "Village of the Damned" with Kirstie Alley for U, and is seen in the CBS mini "Black Fox" and feature "Reinhart's Theory."
