McGrath has Enterprises

Exec to o'see Par's non-studio units

NEW YORK -- Viacom Entertainment Group exec VP Tom McGrath will assume the added title of president at Paramount Enterprises, a newly formed division that will house many of the group's non-studio entertainment properties.

Paramount Enterprises will include Paramount Parks, Canadian cinema chain Famous Players and Par's other interests in exhibition, including mainly United Cinemas Intl., as well as Famous Music Publishing, Consumer Products and Paramount Digital Entertainment.

Appointment adds oversight of the Parks and Digital Entertainment units to McGrath's plate; exec already had a leadership role in the other Paramount Enterprises units in his exec VP post.

He reports to Par's Motion Picture Group chairman Sherry Lansing on exhib issues and to Viacom Entertainment chairman Jonathan Dolgen on other matters.
