MP3.com's Oien logs on

Exec tapped for Viv U Web music post

Vivendi Universal has tapped Derrick Oien, the former prexy and operating chief of music Netco MP3.com, to run the music operations of its recently consolidated online division, Vivendi Universal Net USA.

Exec had been at MP3 since July 1999. Prior to that, he held posts at Universal Music Group, Sony Pictures Studios, tax consultancy BDO Seidman and tech firm Computer Sciences.
