Landry dons 'Spy TV' gear

Thesp to replace Black as host

Ali Landry will replace "Ed's" Michael Ian Black as host of "Spy TV" when the hidden-camera show returns to NBC's sked this summer.

"Spy TV," from Endemol USA, puts everyday people in extreme situations and records their reactions to the pranks. Along with the new host, the show will add a studio audience in its second season. The reality skein debuted last June.

John de Mol is exec producer; Jeff Boggs is co-exec producer.

Landry, whose deal was negotiated by her manager at Reel Talent Management and her agents at UTA, recently completed production in the title role of upcoming feature "Repli-Kate" from the producers of "American Pie." She also stars in upcoming teen comedy pic "Who's Your Daddy?," written and directed by Andy Fickman.

Black continues to portray Phil Stubbs on NBC's "Ed."
