Univision taps marketing exec

Messinger named sr. VP of sales development, marketing

MIAMI -- Univision Communications has named Evan Messinger senior VP of sales development and marketing, effective immediately.

Messinger is responsible for business development and integrated cross-platform endeavors for the Spanish-lingo media company, which has two broadcast nets, a cable net, an Internet site and record label.

Based in New York, he reports to Bennett Fogel, exec VP of network sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Univision, Messinger served as senior VP of business development for Reciprocal.com, a joint venture of Microsoft and Reuters, handling digital rights management, content licensing and e-commerce.
