Boonstra appointed exec director int'l operations
Boonstra will manage Endemol's companies worldwide, focussing on Europe. He will be based at Endemol headquarters in Hilversum and report to COO Ronald Goes.
Boonstra is an independent management consultant who was responsible for the technical side of the re-launch of SBS Broadcasting's third Dutch channel V8.
Before that he worked at Dutch broadcast production company NOB, first as general manager of television broadcast services and then as commercial director for international operations. NOB provides 60% of all facilities work to Dutch broadcasters.
The news comes after Peter Langenberg was named as executive director of operations for Latin America, and completes the new Endemol management team, according to a spokesman.
