
Silverman
Greg Silverman has been named VP of production at Warner Bros. Pictures. Silverman, who returns to Warners after an exec stint at Revolution Studios, will supervise feature development and production and report directly to Lorenzo di Bonaventura.
"I'm very pleased to have Greg back at our studio," di Bonaventura said. "His judgment in recognizing quality material, as well as his ability to creatively and effectively nurture projects through the development and production processes, will make him a valuable addition to our team."
During his previous tenure as a production exec at Warners, Silverman worked on the films "Message in a Bottle," "A Perfect Murder," "Deep Blue Sea," "Romeo Must Die," "Space Cowboys" and "Cats & Dogs."
Took a Chance
He began his career working with producer Mike Karz and went on to join Mad Chance Prods., where he developed the film "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" and associate produced "Ten Things I Hate About You ."
At Revolution, Silverman worked on "America's Sweethearts," "The One" and the upcoming "Gigli."
As an independent producer, he has developed projects at DreamWorks and Artisan Entertainment and co-exec produced the film "On the Line" for Miramax.
