David "Doc" Goldstein

The Universal Studios Operations Group has upped David "Doc" Goldstein from director to veep of post-production engineering and sound services.

Promotion brings Goldstein broader responsibilities for technical operations and staffing. In his new role, he'll set engineering standards for post-production sound and projection divisions, and will continue to oversee all technical aspects of the construction of U's new DVD digital mastering and restoration center, which will open this month.

Goldstein has been an engineer with Universal since 1985.
