"Bruce brings extensive financial management and planning experience that will be invaluable to WDIG's operations," Wadsworth said. "We are thrilled to have him as part of the WDIG executive team, and we all look forward to collaborating with him on new endeavors that will help WDIG achieve its business goals."
Most recently, Gordon served as prexy and general manager of WTVD-TV, the ABC-owned television affiliate in Raleigh, N.C. During his four-year tenure, Gordon was responsible for all aspects of station operations, including sales, news, promotions, programming, finance, engineering, Internet, legal and human resources.
Before joining WTVD-TV, Gordon spent 12 years in senior management at KABC-TV, the ABC-owned television station in Los Angeles, leading the station's finance, administration and planning operations.
