UKTV calls Keeling

John Keeling is the new controller of UKTV, the joint venture channel business of BBC Worldwide and Flextech Television.

He was European managing director of the Auction Channel and replaces Kathryn Mitchell, who is now senior VP for programming at Comedy Central in New York. Keeling will report to Mark Thompson, the BBC's director of television.
