Bergholm exits Scandinavia's SF

Enmark named new acquisitions head

AMSTERDAM -- Scandinavian acquisitions topper Anders Bergholm, after more than 20 years with Svensk Filmindustri (SF) and 30 years with its parent, Bonnier Group, will ankle SF Nov. 2.

Robert Enmark, who has been with SF since 1983, chiefly as head of video but more recently assisting Bergholm in acquisitions and TV sales, will step into Bergholm's shoes as the company's new head of acquisitions.

Bergholm told Daily Variety: "I am not retiring. I simply feel I've done enough here and I want to try my wings in some other venture."

Bergholm added he was "free to pursue several possible avenues."

Rasmus Ramstad, CEO and prexy of SF, described Bergholm's contribution to SF as "integral."

Bergholm cited SF's deal with New Line for all of the Nordic territories, an agreement just renewed, as one of the biggest of his career. The deal was seen as a major coup in the Nordic territories because rival Sandrew Metronome had had the contract for years.

SF has expanded its distribution across the Nordic territories in the last few years, most recently into Denmark and Finland.
