NeTune nabs 'Potter' sequel

NeTune Communications has landed Warner Bros.' "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," the sequel to November's "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," as a client for its digital post-production service ShowRunner. The company's services are being used to transfer dailies and f/x shots from the pic's shooting locations in England to execs on both the Warner Bros. studio lot and f/x studio Industrial Light and Magic near San Francisco. The first installment of "Potter" similarly used NeTune to distribute sequences of the pic from post houses in London to f/x facility Sony Pictures Imageworks. NeTune competes with Global Crossing, Wam!Net, Media.net and TRW's Picture Pipeline.
