Dahl, who spent more than 40 years as a stage manager, was born in Denver and reared in Long Beach, Calif. Following World War II service in the U.S. Navy, Dahl became a page at NBC, and then at CBS.
In 1956, he was promoted to stage manager on the "Red Skelton Show." He later stage managed "The Carol Burnett Show" for 11 years and went on to stage manage "The Price is Right," "Mama's Family," "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "The Young and the Restless."
Dahl is survived by his brother, Jack.
