Gornell to o'see, manage day-to-day marketing ops in Europe

In a series of promotions in the international marketing division of Warner Bros. Pictures, Con Gornell has been promoted to senior VP of European theatrical marketing, Conor Nolan to VP of European promotions and special events and Armin Schneider to VP of European publicity.

All execs will remain based in London and continue to report to L.A.-based Sue Kroll, prexy of international marketing for Warner Bros. Pictures.

Gornell will oversee and manage the day-to-day marketing operations in Europe, supervise the studio's London-based staff and oversee all regional marketing activities.

Nolan will design and execute regional promo programs and extend marketing awareness for the division's theatrical releases in Europe; developing and supervising intercompany tie-ins and third-party promo liaisons, partner sponsorships and new media promo opportunities; and overseeing regionally based special events.

Schneider will develop and execute local market trade and consumer publicity strategies, supervising all campaigns out of WB's London office, and work with local territory managers on publicity campaigns for the studio's European theatrical films, local market acquisitions and co-productions.
