Telemundo's Gems tunes up 'FuZion'

Feevee station reaches 3 million homes

MIAMI -- Telemundo Cable launched "FuZion," a Latin entertainment and music news show, Monday on its Spanish-lingo feevee Gems.

Gems reaches 3 million pay TV homes in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. "FuZion" is co-hosted by Mexican singer-actress Kenya and TV and radio personality Alfonso de Anda. Program airs at 7 p.m. weekdays.

Show is part of Gems' new programming and branding strategy. Telemundo Cable, sister to the Telemundo broadcast network, plans to rename and relaunch Gems this fall as mun2, targeting young Hispanics.
